Bio

Hi, I’m Max Antunes

I’m an editor and filmmaker, and I am passionate about digital media creation. I aspire to have a career in video production, animation, and creative arts. I received my Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media & Film from Towson University, with a Japanese Minor. I’m adept in video editing, visual effects, and general post-production, as well as some experience in videography and camerawork.

Ever since I started creating films in 2013, I have taken my skill sets to larger productions, including film competitions, volunteer projects, and paid gigs. Eventually I worked on narrative student films for college. I have interned at NASA twice, once onsite to produce showcase videos, and once remote to create instructional videos. I am experienced with multiple software suites including DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Creative Cloud, Blender, Photoshop, Krita, Procreate, Godot, Maya, and others. I also have a working knowledge of coding in Python. In addition to my technical experiences, I’ve studied abroad in Japan, and have intermediate proficiency in reading and writing in the Japanese language.

My goal is to use everything I’ve learned up until this point to share my passion for film and electronic media, and network with other inspired creators for future collaborations. Selections of my work can be viewed on my YouTube channel, theMAXeffect as well as selected demo reels.
