While being published is often honor enough, Sandy has been lucky to be a Con guest, make Games Unplugged 'top 50 people in the industry list', be a finalist for the Pyramid 'Survivor' contest, and in general the usual happy minor accolades that go with being a professional writer. Sandy also was elected to 2 terms as Executive Director of the Game Publishers Association and has also served twice as Director Emeritus.
